  26. If this file is renamed to HELPX.HDM and it is located in the same directory
  27. as the HDMHELP.EXE file, then its contents will be used as Page X in HDM's
  28. help system.  To try it out, rename HELPDEMO.HDM to HELPX.HDM.  Press F1 in
  29. HDM to display the initial help screen (see A1DEMO.000 and HELPDEMO.000 for
  30. information on changing that screen) then press <Enter> to display the menu
  31. of Help Pages.  Press the letter <X> to display page X with your custom help
  32. text.  The index for page X will contain the first 20 non-space characters
  33. from the first line of your custom help page.  If your text is not displayed
  34. make sure that the file name is HELP?.HDM (where ? is A-Z or 0-9) and that
  35. it is in the directory where the HDM executable files (*.EXE) reside.

  38. For additional customization see the files:  HDMDEMO.HDR for the logo/header
  39. screen and A1DEMO.000 & HELPDEMO.000 for menu entry & menu file help screens.
  40. You can also have information files displayed & printed by HDM's help system
  41. by giving the files a DOC extension (*.DOC) and putting them in the same
  42. directory as HDMHELP.EXE.  Press F2 while in HDM's help to see your files.
